The Power Youth Initiative is a one-stop-shop available to youth and young adults 13 – 21years of age. The project provides free, seamless programming in a large, welcoming, central location. Services and activities are provided by numerous community partners and include the following: employment programs, teen sexual and general health information, addictions counsellor, drug information groups, on-site caseworker, parenting groups, life-skills, group recreational mentorship with RCMP and other community members, games and music room and musicians, art room and artists and a quiet room to find some calm in a busy day. Youth Counsellors are on site to guide and refer youth and offer specific programs. Please call for hours of operation and schedule information.
Services are augmented and supported by community volunteers and through individual financial donations.
